Model rebuilds
Restructuring so assumptions live in one place, calculations are traceable, and a reviewer can verify the output unaided.
United States · San Diego · Excel consulting
A San Diego workbook review often has a compliance edge. The file started as one scientist's tracker and quietly became part of the quality system, so the question is not just whether it works but whether it can be shown to work.

Two of the things this covers most often for San Diego clients. The excel consulting page sets out the full scope and method.
Restructuring so assumptions live in one place, calculations are traceable, and a reviewer can verify the output unaided.
A structured review: broken references, hard-coded values inside formulas, circular logic, key-person risk, and what would happen if the author left.
Sometimes a targeted repair is right. Sometimes the structure is the problem. We tell you which, and why.
Who maintains it, how it updates, and what to check before trusting the output.

Questions
Answers for this service in this market, including the ones that might cost us the job.
Ask us something elseIt can document what the file does, identify where uncontrolled inputs and unprotected calculations sit, and set out what would need to change. Whether that satisfies your auditor is their judgement, not ours — we work from the specific finding rather than promising a clean result.
We can substantially harden a workbook — controlled assumptions, protected formulas, failing checks, documented procedure. Whether that satisfies a specific regulatory standard depends on the standard, and anyone promising blanket compliance for a plain Excel file is overselling it.
Not fully — and anyone who tells you they can build Part 11 compliance into a plain Excel file is overselling. True Part 11 compliance requires system-level audit trails and access control that Excel alone does not provide. What we can do is substantially harden a workbook: validation, formula protection, an in-file change log, and documented procedures. For genuine regulated-record use, that supports a validated system rather than replacing one. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your use case falls on.
